MIDEX® Reports

MARI offers two ways to obtain access to MARI’s MIDEX database reports on you or your company. The two options are as follows:

• One time access to a MIDEX report. Use this option if a MARI subscriber to MIDEX (a mortgage lender, investor or insurance company) instructed you to contact MARI in order to receive a copy of a MIDEX report.

 

• Ongoing MIDEX report monitoring and alert service. This service, known as ProWatch, provides you with any existing MIDEX public and contributory data on you or your company when you subscribe and sends you any new reports for 12 months.

What is a MIDEX Report?

MIDEX reports consist of public administrative and legal sanctions reported by more than 200 regulatory and oversight organizations in the mortgage, commercial banking, appraisal, real estate and securities industries. They also include non-public incidents of alleged fraud and material misrepresentation contributed by more than 400 companies in the mortgage industry.

The MIDEX database service is widely used by mortgage lenders, investors and insurers to perform background checks on individuals and companies with whom they have pending or existing business relationships. Given the nature of the database, MIDEX does not contain information on every company or professional in the mortgage industry.
